Protection all the way

We believe that health and safety measures are the priority in any working environment while greater comfort and modern styles improve worker compliance with regulatory requirements for protective eyewear. Therefore we take care in adding comfort features where they are needed most – heavy contact areas like the nose bridges and temple tips.

The materials we utilise provide better comfort and are designed to be durable while being soft to the touch. We are continually developing new coatings, materials and designs to being the latest technology, innovation and fashion into our protective eyewear line.

Safety Tips

What contributes to eye injuries at work?

  • Not wearing eye protection. According to the Bureau of Labour Statistics, nearly 3 out of every 5 workers injured are not wearing eye protection at the time of the incident.
  • Wearing the wrong kind of eye protection for the job. The Bureau of Labour Statistics reports that about 40% of injured workers are wearing some form of eye protection when incidents occur. However, these workers are most likely to be wearing protective eyeglasses with no side shields.

What causes eye injuries?

  • Flying particles. Per the Department of Labour Statistics, almost 70% of accidents result from flying or falling objects or sparks striking the eye. Injured workers estimate that nearly three fifths of the objects are smaller than a pinhead.
  • Contact with chemicals - The point needs to state that fumes are dangerous to the eyes as well as accidental spillage can cause serious harm.
